Pupils at Tavernspite School are celebrating a winning streak after scooping the titles of Welsh Eco School of the Year, Pembrokeshire Urdd contact rugby champions and Pembrokeshire girl's football winners.
They have also triumphed in local netball and football competitions and scored a string of hits in musical and cross country running competitions.
Members of the school's eco-committee travelled to Cardiff's Millennium Stadium to receive their award from BBC weatherman Derek Brockway.
"We won this award because of the work we have done this year towards climate change," said headteacher Kevin Phelps.
"The installation of our solar panels together with a number of other initiatives has really driven our sustainability projects. The children have been very actively involved. We are delighted to win and this award is a lovely way of recognising their achievements."
There was also success for the girl's football team which won the Pembrokeshire Primary Schools Football Association Tournament at Greenhill School in Tenby. The team beat five others without conceding a goal to take the title.
The school's rugby team meanwhile won the Pembrokeshire Urdd contact rugby championship and now go on to play in the Welsh Urdd finals in May.
The team also won the Bancyfelin 7s rugby tournament the following week. They are the first Pembrokeshire team to do so. Team member Nikita Neary was named player of the tournament. The school's Year 3 and 4 team also entered the Bancyfelin 7s tag tournament and reached the semi-finals.
The school's cross-country team have also won medals.
Thirty-five children represented Tavernspite School in the Dyfed finals and five runners gained top 10 positions in their age category. Lucy Davies from Year 4 was the fastest girl in the county over the mile-long course. Year 6 pupils Toby Phelps, Nia Walters and Aron Ebsworth were selected to run for Dyfed againstWest Glamorgan in Swansea the following week with the Dyfed team becoming eventual winners.
And the school's success hasn't been limited to the playing field. The school's Cerdd Dant group won the County Urdd competition held in Fishguard and now go on to the National Eisteddfod held in Cardiff in May.
Year 6 pupil Laura Nix also won first place in the Urdd County Flute competition and will compete in the National Eisteddfod in Cardiff in May. Laura has also recently passed her grade five music theory exam with merit.
"Laura's achievement is remarkable for a primary school pupil," added Mr. Phelps. "We are very proud of Laura as well as all our sporting, musical and eco achievements. Our children work hard at everything they do and thoroughly enjoy taking part in a wide range of events and competitions."
