Local Senedd Member Samuel Kurtz has brought together the Cabinet Secretary for Transport Ken Skates and representatives from SPRAG to discuss much-needed improvements to the Pembroke Dock to Whitland line, one he describes as “one of the worst performing lines in Wales.”
During the meeting, the knowledge of the South Pembrokeshire Rail Action Group members shone through, underlining their deep commitment to restoring an hourly service and their passion for ensuring that Pembrokeshire is not left behind when it comes to rail investment and connectivity.
Speaking after the meeting, Samuel Kurtz MS said: “There is a long way to go until hourly services are reinstated, but by working together as a community we will keep banging the drum for the long-overdue investment that West Wales deserves."
