Well-known characters from the world of film and television continue to help raise funds in Pembroke towards a Welsh children’s cancer charity.

Fundraising organiser Kayleigh Kitts along with Abi Roberts of The Sweet Retreat on Pembroke’s Main Street, continue to raise funds for LATCH outside the premises.

“Due to the charity, Abi’s friends have pulled together and the character’s numbers are increasingly growing,” said Kayleigh.

“Many individuals, couples and families stopped whilst walking by to donate, and grab a selfie with Shrek, Princess Fiona and Donkey.

“So many people in their cars also stopped, scooping up any lose change they could find in their vehicle.

“All support given is much appreciated and we have reached nearly £250 just from the bucket collections over the three days we have held the character days!” she added.
