RESIDENTS of Pembroke should experience no rise in the Precept in the coming financial year, thanks to efforts by Pembroke Town Council while setting the budget for the town.

“This decision reflects our commitment to maintaining essential services for the town while being mindful of the financial pressures many households continue to face,” says a statement on the council’s Facebook page.

“Despite rising costs and increasing demands on local services, the council has worked diligently to ensure that the town’s needs are met without placing additional burden on our residents.

“We remain focused on delivering value for money and sustaining the quality of life in Pembroke through responsible financial management.”

The statement also thanks residents for their “continued support and engagement.”
