Following another successful reunion in June this year, the organising group of Narberth Old Pupils Association (NOPA) met to discuss the future and to make a donation to the Narberth Museum.
The group agreed to hold maybe the last reunion in June 2020 - a date for your diary will be circulated during 2019.
The photo shows a donation of £400 being made to the Museum. In the picture are (from left) Hefin Roberts, Bernie Scourfield, Pauline Griffiths of the Museum, Prof. Desmond Hayes, Kathleen Phillips (nee Mathias) and Joyce Lewis (nee Prout).
Pauline thanked NOPA for its generous donation citing the difference it makes in helping to keep the Museum open. She went on to draw attention to a special Open Day planned for Saturday, December 1, 2018, when all its hundreds of school photos will be on display. The collection includes photographs of pupils at the former Church School, Narberth CP School and the Grammar/Secondary School.
They are sure to bring back memories of the ‘ best years of our lives’. Admission to the Museum will be free on the day. Please come and drop in between 10 am and 5 pm. Seasonal refreshments will be available in the coffee shop.
