Leader Keith led 20 New Year’s Strollers on their first walk of 2017 this week.

Starting at Manorbier Castle strollers took a three mile walk in glorious weather along the coastal path to Swan Lake Bay, where several skimmed stones, strolled on the beach, and Keith played a haunting folk song to set the mood.

All then took a hike upwards back inland by yellow gorse-lined pathways passing sheep-strewn fields in the sunlight.

Finishing back at Manorbier all enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Potting Shed joined by several more Strollers. Such a lovely day to be walking off the seasonal calories!
