The saga of the Northwest Frontier of India, now Pakistan, is the focus of a special event at Pembroke Dock Library next week.
On Wednesday (May 15) from 7 pm, David Saunders MBE will be discussing the numerous battles, skirmishes and uprisings that played out amidst spectacular mountain scenery that he has explored widely.
David is also a well-known naturalist, having become the first warden of Skomer Island in 1960, and was awarded the MBE in 2003.
The event is free to attend and no booking is required.
