Round Tables in Pembrokeshire have joined forces to send food hampers to frontline NHS staff at Withybush Hospital.
Tablers from Narberth and Whitland, Tenby, Milford Haven, Haverfordwest and Fishguard and District have been busy sorting out supplies for the ‘heroes’ in the health service.
The showroom at Gravells garage in Narberth run by long-standing Round Table member Ian Gravell has been utilised as a hub for Pembrokeshire Round Tables to prepare the food hampers.
“Helping these heroes without capes is a vital part of what we and the Round Table Great Britain and Ireland do so well!” said a spokesperson for Gravells.
Thanks has also gone to companies Princes Gate for the donation of 2,600 bottles of water and Castell Howell for their generous contributions towards the hampers.
“This afternoon really emphasised to us what being a Round Tabler is all about, and to keep the staff at Withybush, happy and fed on shift in these trying times,” stated Narberth and Whitland Round Table.
“Delighted to help put together these care packages for frontline NHS staff at Withybush. Great to see the Round Table organisations coming together to help support our vital emergency services,” posted Tenby Round Table on Facebook.“We are actively looking for new members to help us support our communities, especially at times like this. If you are interested in finding out more and seeing what Round Table can do for you, please drop us a message!” they added.
