Among the guests were those who had helped build the disabled access to the Narberth Rugby Club stand and the disabled shelter on Whitland rugby ground ground. Many builders gave their time and materials to complete this venture.
There were also some 40 others who had assisted the club in its various projects in the community.
President Graham Haddleton spoke briefly about the history of Rotary and its motto of 'Service above Self', the most important of which is the funding of the campaign to eradicate polio throughout the world, which featured on the BBC news recently.
Entertainment was provided by Talfan Jenkins, aged 10, who received a big round of applause for his playing of his saxophone.
Graham invited the guests to consider joining the club and it is thought possible that some will.
