A resident attending the Narberth Police and Community Together (PACT) meeting has praised the local neighbourhood policing team.

The member of the public commented that the level of anti-social behaviour in Narberth had been severely reduced in the past 12 to 18 months - since the NPT had been in the town.

PCSO Dave Henry said: "We are delighted residents are seeing a difference in  Narberth.

"The Behave of Be Banned (BOBB) scheme in the town has been very successful and allows the licensees to ban people who have misbehaved in the town.

"We will continue with our efforts to address any issues of concern and encourage any resident or business to attend the monthly PACT meeting."

There were no priorities set at the meeting as all residents were happy.

The team has therefore decide to target the Town Moor Car Park, to deter and investigate any anti-social use of motor vehicles and to engage with young people in Kilgetty in a bid to deter youth anti-social behaviour, perceived or otherwise.

The Narberth PACT meeting is held on the first Tuesday of every month at 7 pm at Bloomfield Community Centre, Narberth.
