A FLOOD alert is currently being displayed on the Natural Resources Wales website for rivers in the Taf and Cynin catchments.

The notice, which was issued at 9.34 last night (January 8), states: “Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected.

“Rainfall is currently affecting this area. River Levels are above normal levels. We will continue to monitor the situation.”
