A Pembroke gamer has seen a card game he has developed shuffle to the front of the pack for potential stocking fillers this Christmas.
Sam Edwards has been working on Cucumber Sandwich for over two years - described as an action filled card game of strategy and betrayal, for mature audiences.
“I have used my computer games industry experience with Playstation, SEGA, EA, Apple and Microsoft to make the best, most fun game possible,” said Sam, who currently works for Sega Gaming in Cardiff.
“It is a silly, quirky game that certainly isn’t for everyone. Adult comedy themed games are a very popular at the moment with games like ‘Cards Against Humanity’ becoming a household name worldwide
“It has now been successfully funded on Kickstarter and I’ll look to fulfill these orders in November.
“I have also been approached by Amazon.com as one of their business development managers highlighted the game as one they wish to sell based on the success they think it could bring in today’s market, and I am now working with them to get Cucumber Sandwich on Amazon.com in time for Black Friday and Christmas this year,” he continued.
Each copy of Cucumber Sandwich supports up to four players, while additional decks allow up to another four players to join in the frolics.
Every copy of Cucumber Sandwich includes the box, the rules and 80 awesome cards.
