A former Tenby Sea Cadet and Greenhill School pupil has been recognised in the Queens Birthday Honours list.

Royal Navy Chief Petty Officer Paul Roberts has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in recognition of the outstanding contribution made to the Royal Navy throughout his career serving with distinction since 1976.

He is currently serving at Devonport Royal Dockyard in Frigate Support and lives in Cornwall with his wife Alison, formerly of Saundersfoot.
