Around 2,500 cyclists took part in the Carten100 charity ride from Cardiff to Tenby on Saurday to raise as much money for good causes.

The ride returned after being cancelled due to Storm Hannah in 2019, and being postponed on a further three occasions due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The weather was good up to Carmarthen where it poured down to Tenby - but it didn’t dampen the spirits!

There was a slightly different finishing route for entrants this year, with the riders welcomed to the home of Tenby AFC at The Clicketts just past Tenby Leisure Centre rather than the town’s harbour, although they did get a glimpse of the picturesque Tenby seafront as they turned down by the Walled Town before heading to Marsh Road and the finishing line.

Tenby and District Lions were on hand to provide finishers with food and refreshments.
