Prior to their AGM in January, Tenby Flower Arrangers had expressed an interest in restarting the memorial Posy Festival at St. Mary’s Church, Tenby. Having spoken to the Rector Canon Andrew Grace, who was delighted to hear their plan, they invited Mrs. Barbara Morris, the previous organiser, to join them at their meeting to give a guideline of what had been done previously. She gave a very illuminating talk and also gave the club all the relevant material that had been used over the years. Chairman Jan Griffiths thanked her for setting them on the right path, and she in turn wished the members good luck in the venture

Planning for the event has now began and the dates for the festival will be June 25, 26 and 27, and a Coffee Morning will be held on Saturday, May 9, where the start of reservations for the posies, stand and windowsill arrangements will be taken. The Tenby members hope that all those who have helped at this event over the years preparing and making the posies will join them and do so again.

Further details will follow over the coming months and the arrangers are looking forward to making the 2020 festival as wonderful as the past ones have been.
