Henry Bolton OBE who was the chief planner for the European Union on Security and Defence in Brussels for three years from 2013, was on hand on Saturday to give a talk at Whitland Town Hall.

During his talk, Mr. Bolton analysed the current situation in Parliament and the various options facing the Government.

He also explained at the event, which was hosted by UKIP West Wales, why the Irish border issue is an unnecessary and artificial problem created by the EU. 

Having worked extensively in Whitehall, Mr. Bolton is familiar with the working systems of the British civil servants and how they have conflicted with the EU negotiating stance.  

The talk was split into two with a break for refreshments and there was ample time for clarification questions and discussion.  Every one agreed that the afternoon was extremely informative.
