An amazing £2,300 was raised for Tavernspite Playgroup at its Grand Charity Auction Night on September 20 at the Sporting Chance in Red Roses, held to mark 25 years since the group was started.
Local businesses and parents were especially generous, and the playgroup would like to thank the following for donations to the event, which will help the group stay running and provide essential equipment for the children:

The charity, which relies on donations and fund-raising, provides a fun setting for youngsters from two-and-a-half to school age, is Estyn-inspected and offers free places to three-year-olds.
