Three planning appeals following recent National Park decisions have been dealt with by the Planning Inspectorate.

Two of the three were dismissed while a third was allowed – a replacement toilet and shower block, and the relocation of an unpermitted reception building at Meadow Farm, North Cliffe, Tenby saw its refusal overturned.

Clr. Michael Williams said at Wednesday’s (July 15) development management committee that he was disappointed with the inspector’s decision to allow the toilet block and said landscaping conditions must be adhered to.

He raised concerns about “creeping development” in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

A Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority decision to refuse an application for roof lights, change of use and rebuilding an extension at Apple Tree Gallery, Saundersfoot was upheld.

The refusal of unauthorised raised decking at 3 The Glen, Little Haven was also upheld by the planning inspector along with an enforcement notice.

The committee heard that discussions with the landowner would take place later this month.
