THE declaration of Pembroke Dock Market Ward Pembrokeshire County Council by-election was made by Returning Officer Will Bramble on Friday, July 10.
The candidate with the most votes (143) and elected County Councillor for the ward is local businessman and Welsh Conservative candidate Jamie Street with a margin of victory Samuel Kurtz describes as “hugely impressive”.
Coming in second with 100 votes was independent candidate Claire Francis-Boswell; third with 79 was Chloe Richards, Plaid Cymru; while Reform Wales’ Ryan Morgan came fourth with 48 votes.
The remaining candidates, Paul Dowson (Independent), Lee Herring (Welsh Liberal Democrats) and Hayley Wood (Independent) gained 11, nine and seven votes respectively.
