After meeting with some local residents, consideration is to be given to some traffic calming measures in Northfield Road, Narberth.

Many vehicles use this road and some use excessive speed.

A site meeting is to be scheduled for the early part of next week, when the council will also look at a way of widening part of Northfield Road for traffic as it is currently a bottleneck.

"The scheme I will put forward will in no way reduce the parking for residents or a reduction in pavement widths, but would benefit householders, pedestrians and disabled users of this road," said County Clr. Wynne Evans.
