Produce Market: On the second Saturday of every month in Whitland Memorial Hall (9.30 am to 12.30 pm). Excellent local produce brought to the market by local producers. Assorted vegetables grown in Angle (Pembrokeshire), plants nursed in Llanteg, cakes and other delicacies baked in Whitland and Cwmfelin Boeth, delicious jams, chutneys, sauces and preserves made in Whitland and Llanboidy, eggs from chickens which are really free range and beef and lamb from the hills around Ciffig. And, new in November - deliciously splendid chocolate bars from NomNom Chocolate (proper Welsh chocolate). Another reason to stop by the market and try some of the delicious produce available. Remembrance Sunday: On Sunday, November 10, there will be laying of wreaths at the Whitland War Memorial at 10 am in the Whitland Memorial Hall (Market Street). It will be followed by a Remembrance Service at St. Mary's Church, Whitland.
Poultry Bingo: After last year's very successful Poultry Bingo, the Whitland Memorial Hall is having another on Tuesday, December 3. Make sure you put the date down in your diary!
