trip to Whitland Fire Station

Recently, children from Cylch Meithrin Hywel Dda were very excited to hear that a visit had been arranged to Whitland Fire Station. They couldn't wait to see Sam Tan Hendygwyn! Everyone had a lovely time at the station and the cylch would like to thank Mr. Mike Faulkner and Mr. David Lewis for a very enjoyable and educational visit.

It was a lovely fine day and the children also enjoyed a walk around Whitland town. They visited Fresh Flavours, Natwest Bank and Gerddi Hywel Dda. At Fresh Flavours, they bought strawberries to eat back at the cylch and at the Hywel Dda gardens everyone had fun collecting the pretty autumn leaves that had fallen from the trees.

Bag2School collection

As part of their fundraising programme, Cylch Meithrin Hywel Dda have arranged another Bag2School collection and they kindly ask that any unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, textiles are brought to the cylch before November 13. Collection bags are available at the cylch, but you can also use any other bags for the items. If you would like them to collect items, please contact them on 07816108555 or 01994 241189.

Also the cylch meithrin committee have organised a horse racing evening at Whitland Rugby Club on Saturday, November 3, at 7 pm, please go along and join in the fun!

The cylch meithrin is open Monday to Thursday morning, 9 - 11.30 am, for children two-and-a-half years and over. The Cylch Ti a Fi meets every Friday morning, 9 - 11 am, for children from birth to school age with their parents/carers.
