Maybe you think God is all... 'Don't do this and don't do that'.
You may be pleasantly surprised that, to a certain extent, this is true.
God says: 'Do not be afraid, do not worry, do not be discouraged, do not let your hearts be troubled, donot give up...'
Often our default mode is to worry, it's like we are programmed to react to situations with panic!
God wants us to be free from worry.
Maybe you can learn a new way of reacting? To: 'Throw all your worry on him, because he cares for you' (1 Peter 5:7). This is a habit that takes practice and trust.
If you feel lost, hopeless or alone, remember: God loves you and paid a very high price for your freedom, and wants what is best for you:
'For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life' (John 3:16).
This act of pure love paid the price for our wrongs. When Jesus died on the cross he cried out: 'Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing' (Luke 23:34).
Jesus cries out to us today. He longs for people to turn to him and receive his precious gift of perfect love, he wants us to live life in his peace, no matter what we go through.
Will we pursue Jesus' peace today?

Footnote: Do you have any old and unwanted bras? Sally Lloyd is joining forces with Bosom Buddies charity, with help from Katie Howells at Pretty Lovely Lingerie who has agreed to collect bras at her shop. You can donate your bras to Pretty Lovely Lingerie, 27 High Street, Narberth. For every ton (9,000) of bras collected, a textile recycling firm pledged to donate £1,000 to Breast Cancer UK, and all the collected bras will be sent to Africa and distributed amongst women to reduce the risks they face from sexual violence.
