The June meeting was held in the rugby club. President Joan Spacey welcomed members. The newsletter was discussed. A lunch was arranged for later in the month. The president thanked members who had helped Mavis Murrell clear and replant the flower border at Narberth Railway Station. A WI husband, Mr. Bevan, gave a much-appreciated helping hand. The speaker, Bethan Morgan, gave a very interesting talk on acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Bethan answered many questions. Meg Turner thanked Bethan for a fascinating presentation and invited her to have a cup of tea with members. Tea was served by Tess and her team. The raffle was won by Jean Grimes. The July meeting will be at the rugby club on Thursday, July 3, at 2 pm. Visitors/new members always welcome.
