Amanda Roberts will be exhibiting a new collection of paintings at Oriel Q - Queen's Hall Gallery, Narberth, from tomorrow (Saturday) until March 21.

These are well executed, figurative paintings that are rare today and Amanda has produced high quality considered work which reflects her passions.

Said Amanda: "This work is a colourful and personal exploration of the domestic, resulting from my leaving the work place and spending time at home with my family.

"Using a variety of scale and media, the work reflects on relationships, and uses imagery that reflects a preoccupation with my particular Welsh, female heritage."

Also, in Oriel Fach, Roger Moss is showing a collection of sculpture that has been created using 'haptic technology' on the computer. This is a fascinating show that reflects the contemporary use of materials available to artists today.

Roger will be giving a talk about this technique on Thursday, March 5, at 7 pm.

The gallery is open Wednesdays-Saturdays, 10 am - 5 pm.
