The spring series of music at Burnett's Hill Chapel, Martletwy, comes to a close this week with a visit from the London-based Budapest Cafe Orchestra.

The 'orchestra' comprises four virtuoso musicians playing a variety of instruments. They include Eddie Hession, a supreme accordion champion of Great Britain, and celebrated jazz fiddle maestro Chris Garrick, who has played alongside Cleo Laine, Wynton Marsalis and Nigel Kennedy, among others.

Together they perform passionate and fiery dance music and folk songs from Eastern Europe, inspired by the Gypsies of Hungary and Romania.

Tickets for this concert on Thursday, March 15, are available from the Pembroke Bookshop.
