Monkton Young People First held their annual village fayre at Ramsden Court in Monkton recently.

Although the weather was challenging at first, the rain held off and the weather improved slightly as the day went on. The event is extremely popular and the local community look forward to it every summer. Despite the weather, it was very successful and this year they had bouncy castles, rodeo sheep, magic man, tin and bottle stall, face painting, raffle, tea and coffee, vegetable stall, lucky dip. They were supported as usual by Pembrokeshire Communities First, and had they would also like to thank the following local organisations: Tesco, Pembroke Co-op Ltd, Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Lions, Bevan and Buckland, Pembroke Castle, Pembroke Town Council, Stackpole Walled Gardens, Police and Crime Commissioner, and PCC Community Chest for their continued support which is very much appreciated.
