An area surrounding a development of ‘luxury beachside apartments’ alongside Tenby’s South Beach needs some urgent landscaping, according to a local councillor.

Discussing the matter at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, Clr. Paul Rapi told his colleagues that there had been a lot of issues surrounding the Water’s Edge development in the past, but now that all phases of the scheme had been fully finished for some time, it was disappointing that no money had been spent on any landscaping issues around the site.

“The surrounding area is full of weeds and pretty disgraceful, and it’s disappointing that the developers haven’t landscaped the area - it looks dreadful.

“Nothing appears to have been done around these apartments since they went up, so the developers need to put something back,” continued Clr. Rapi, asking if a letter could be sent to the property’s agent.
