A heavy goods vehicle was in collision with the central reservation opposite Tenby Road Filling Station on the westbound carriageway of the A40 shortly after 12 am yesterday (Thursday).

Firefighters from Whitland and Carmarthen attended and were involved in clearing the roadway and making the vehicle safe. The brigade's environmental unit also attended.

There were no reported injuries.
