A Whitland based woman is up for a digital award after launching a successful internet training scheme at the town's Memorial Hall.
Susan Adams, of Station House, St. Johns Street, is up against two other regional finalists to be named 'Wales' Digital Hero'.
TalkTalk's search for the nation's Digital Heroes will see Susan go head to head with two other regional finalists to win a £5,000 technology grant to help further her cause.
The TalkTalk 'Digital Heroes Awards', in conjunction with Citizens Online, is the only awards of its kind to celebrate outstanding people who are using digital technology to bring about positive social change.
After calling for entries over the last eight weeks, TalkTalk has shortlisted the three most deserving candidates from each of the UK's 12 main regions and are opening up the final vote online to the public.
The individuals with the most votes from each of the regions will be honoured at a ceremony at the House of Lords judged by a panel that includes UK Digital champion and dotcom entrepreneur Martha Lane Fox.
Susan's internet training scheme at the Whitland Memorial Hall is helping the local community to get online.
Originally inspired by hearing Martha Lane Fox on the radio, Susan decided to set up her project with the support of two volunteers and the Race Online 2012 team.
The internet training scheme started in June with an open day to promote 'Go On Whitland'.
Susan aims to expand the scheme to a twice weekly course - one for beginners and one to help people improve their skills - with the bold ambition of getting the whole of Whitland online.
Susan plans to use the grant to buy laptops for the training scheme and to run the courses.

UK Digital champion Martha Lane Fox said: "As the Digital Heroes Awards have shown over the past few years, technology and the internet can change lives.
"These awards are all about recognising those individuals who have gone the extra mile to improve the lives of people in their community by showing them the many benefits of the web.
