Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Lions recently presented a donation to a young lady who is raising money to help build wells for villages in Africa

Nine-year-old Habeba Naziane, who is half Welsh and half Moroccan, will be taking part in a ‘Walk in Her Shoes’ sponsored walk to raise funds for the cause.

“At the moment too many girls of my age in Africa have to walk to collect water everyday and so don’t have time to go to school,” explained Habeba, who lives in Lamphey, and had already raised £100 for the cause, before the Lions presented her with a further £100.
