Employees at Kiln Park Service Station, Tenby, are inviting customers and passers-by to enjoy a slice of the legendary Le Mans 24 hour endurance race by hosting an open day today (Thursday) with Gulf’s Aston Martin, which has competed in Le Mans, on display. This impressive vehicle – with a whopping 480 bhp engine and 500 Nm Torque - is one of the fastest, most celebrated and exciting racing cars on the circuit.
Situated on Marsh Road, Kiln Park Service Station, which recently rebranded as Gulf with its attractive blue and orange facia, is opening its forecourt and inviting customers and local residents to come and see this spectacular car on display, while enjoying some refreshments and giveaways on the day.
“We’re hosting the open day to celebrate our fantastic new image with our re-brand to Gulf." explained Paul Merriman, who has worked at Kiln Park Service Station for almost 14 years.
“Customers will have seen the changes happening to the forecourt over the last few weeks and we’d love to see as many people as possible to help us celebrate changing to Gulf. Whether you are topping up fuel, washing your car or convenience shopping, everyone is welcome.
“Gulf has a rich heritage in West Wales and I am delighted that we will soon be part of it. Many people in the area were former Gulf employees, working at the Milford Haven Refinery. For our customers, it means a strong and respected fuel brand with a product range of the very highest quality,” he added.
