There have been 258 new coronavirus cases in the Hywel Dda Health Board area in the last 48 hours according to today’s figures (Tuesday, November 2).
The latest data from Public Health Wales shows there were 110 new cases in Carmarthenshire, 116 in Pembrokeshire and 32 in Ceredigion since the last report.
Data reported on a Monday is for a 48 hour period and likely to be double the usual 24 hour figures.
The total number of cases across the three counties now stands at 41,540 – 24,002 in Carmarthenshire, 11,901 in Pembrokeshire and 5,637 in Ceredigion.
There were no new Covid-related deaths recorded in the Hywel Dda area since the last report, with the total standing at 568 throughout the pandemic.
In total 2,210 new cases of coronavirus and ten new Covid-related deaths have been reported across Wales bringing the national total to 445,163 cases and 6,177 deaths.
There have been 13,752 tests done across the country since the last report.
Across Wales 2,446,4308 people have had their first dose of covid-19 vaccine and 2,244,886 have had their second dose and are fully vaccinated.
‘Booster’ doses have been given to 446,128 people and 22,136 people have received a three dose primary course of covid-19 vaccine.
Hywel Dda University Health Board is no longer updating its vaccination reports with invitations for third ‘booster’ doses now going out to residents across the three counties in priority order.
