THANKS go to Phil, Peter and Andrew Kidney from Jameston, who raised £2,000 for Ward 10, at Withybush General Hospital, to show appreciation of the care for their mother Joyce, who sadly passed away following a short stay on the ward last year.

The money raised was from donations given in lieu of flowers in memory of Joyce (£710) and sponsorship from Phil completing the Ironman Wales event in 2017.

Helen Johns, Senior Sister, said: “Thank you so much to Phil, Peter and Andrew Kidney for donating £2,000 to Ward 10. The generous donation will be used to enhance the care provided on the ward and will ensure that patients, their families and staff can access a wide range of specialist services and equipment beyond what the NHS can currently provide. Thank you so much for your support.”
