The Begelly Golden Age Club held a party on June 14 at the Kilgetty Community Centre to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

A group of club ladies arranged the food brought by members and served tea.

Highlights of the afternoon included - the hilarious entertianment by members, the planting of a commemoration tree in the Community Garden, and the reading of a letter of thanks from Buckingham Palace in which Her Majesty the Queen thanked the club for the message of congratulations and good wishes that they had sent her, which delighted everyone present.
