A fun search for one of the national symbols of Wales will be hotting up in Saundersfoot on this St. David's Day weekend, when the village stages its first-ever Dragon Trail.
The trail - a part of the two-day St. David's Food and Craft Festival - will see participants seeking out over 20 toy dragons placed in businesses belonging to event organisers, Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism.
Each dragon will have a different name and number, and the challenge is for entrants to match them to their list of businesses.
Said Chamber chairman Phil Odley: "The aim of the Village Dragon Trail is to encourage visitors, particularly families, to wander around Saundersfoot as well as enjoying the festival.
"All correct entries will go into a draw, with a toy dragon and a meal for four at the Mermaid on the Strand as the prize."
This year, for the first time, the festival will be held indoors at the village's Regency Hall Community Centre, which recently re-opened after a £1.4m rebuilding programme.
Alongside over 30 stalls in the main hall, there will be live music on stage from Caffl, Quarto, Jess Ward, Sandalwood and The Butch Boys, and demonstrations by guest chefs Anthony Evans and Lisa Fearn.
The festival also features the Cawl Cooking Championship of the World... and Elsewhere, which is judged on the taste-test of visitors on the Saturday, and which proved so popular last year that 350 bowls were sold in under 90 minutes.
Saundersfoot St. David's Food and Craft Festival takes place tomorrow (Saturday) from 10 am to 6 pm and on Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
Unlimited admission to the Regency Hall is £2 (accompanied under 16s free), which can be included in the £5 cawl trail price.
Admission gives free entry to the Grand Festival Draw and the Village Dragon Trail.
