Further blood donation clinics will take place in Tenby and Narberth this month.

“The Welsh Blood Service had an amazing 1,097 donors turning up to give blood for the first time in June,” said Donna Davies, donor engagement co-ordinator for the area.

Donna also thanked the ‘amazing response’ to recent donor sessions, after a blood donation hub was set up in Tenby Leisure Centre during lockdown, with over 300 donors attending over the four days which resulted in 272 donations made.

Donation sessions will be held on Friday, July 24 at Tenby Leisure Centre; and at the Queens Hall in Narberth on July 30 and 31.
