Five contestants from Ysgol y Preseli and Ysgol Dyffryn Taf took part for the honour of representing the club in the next round.
Taking part were Teleri Vaughan and Gwenno Griffiths, of Ysgol y Preseli, and Jemma Rogers, Rhys Jackson and Lowri Evans from Ysgol Dyffryn Taf.
The judges, Bill Collins and Bruce Guy, had to assess the qualities of a three-course meal which the contestants had prepared in a set time. The complexity of the menu, temperature and presentation were all assessed to reach a final decision.
After their deliberations, the judges awarded the first prize to Gwenno Griffiths, of Ysgol y Preseli, who will proceed to the next round at Pembrokeshire College in the new year.
President Graham Haddleton congratulated Gwenno and all those who had taken part.
"The food prepared by everyone was absolutely delightful," he said, "and you are all to be congratulated on your skills."
He thanked the judges, Rotarian Rob Elward for organising the event and Ysgol Dyffryn Taf for hosting the event.
