A former practice nurse in Saundersfoot is returning to the town - as its vicar.

Rev. Marianne Osborne worked at the Medical Centre in Westfield Road prior to her ordination as a priest in 2009. Since then, she has served as a curate in Tenby and is currently priest-in-charge in the parish of Burton and Rosemarket as well as leading the St. Davids Diocesan Children and Youth Team. She is also chaplain to Pembrokeshire Girl Guides.

Marianne said: "Saundersfoot and the surrounding areas are a beautiful part of Pembrokeshire that I got to know well during my time with Dr. Davies and his team at the surgery. I'm really excited to be returning to the area in yet another caring capacity, but this time it will just be souls!"

She will be licensed on Thursday, March 6, at 7 pm, in St. Issell's Church.
