In a show of support from afar, locals sat down to ‘Fish ’n’ Chips’ at home on November 4, in order to support the RNLI.
With a history of fundraising for the cause, The Qube planned a socially distanced evening of fish and chips in the restaurant. When the lockdown was announced, they weren’t deterred, planning instead to deliver the meals to peoples’ homes.
Matthew Ronowitz, Qube owner said: “We were delighted to see how many people rallied for the cause, even in a lockdown. Big thanks to everyone.”
The charitable evening raised £350 for the RNLI, and the break from home-cooking was appreciated by all.
