Anne Pugh, president of the New Hedges WI, welcomed members to what was to be their first AGM on Zoom! The usual date for the AGM is November, but as everyone knows, things have changed, and this AGM was therefore rather late.

Frances gave a review of all the meetings, speakers and events that had taken place in 2019, which had all been varied and entertaining. Pat Davies presented the financial report for the year, and is willing to provide a copy to anyone who wants one. Anne reminded members of their last meeting of 2019, a Christmas party held in the hall. It had been a great success, and all were oblivious of what was in store for 2020!

Thanks were given to Glyth, Maralyn, Frances and Julie for all the planning they do.

Anne went through various items in the newsletter; lots of things to take part in, if restrictions allow.

Nine committee members agreed to keep their posts, and Anne Pugh was elected to continue as president.

New Hedges WI had two competition winners recently: Vena won first prize for a short story, and Frances won first prize with her design for a badge to celebrate PFWI’s Centenary. Well done to both ladies.

The date for subscriptions has changed. From now on, they are due in April. This year the amount to pay is £44.00. Payment by BACS if possible please.
