NEED a pick-up after the Christmas period? Span Arts monthly Comedy Club is back on Thursday, January 15, at the Queen's Hall, Narberth.

First headliner of the year is Rob Deering, the UK's foremost guitar-wielding, loop-layering stand-up comedian. Multi-talented, the 'bruisingly hilarious' Rob Deering was the host, and writer of three series' of Out to Lunch on BBC Radio 2. He has also hosted 99 Things to Do Before You Die on Channel 5.

Second act of the evening is Andy Watson. Having supported Paddy McGuinness on his 'Plus You!' tour, Andy Watson's razor sharp wit and physical comedy skills will have audiences laughing out loud. Winner of the City Life North West Comedian of the Year Award, previous winners include Peter Kay, Caroline Aherne, Dave Spikey and Jason Manford.

Compere for the evening is Lou Conran. Described by Sarah Millian as 'naturally funny' with her instinctive wit, Lou Conran's naughty but nice delivery, and friendly presence can warm up the coldest of audiences.

Complete with candle-lit cabaret seating, bar, and delicious food in the interval, Comedy Club is suited to all.
