There will be plenty to savour at the award-winning Narberth Food Festival, which will be serving up a lively mix of goodies on the last weekend of September.
Family fun, tasting sessions, chef demonstrations, some tasty musical offerings and plenty of food, glorious food will be amongst the ingredients of the friendly festival, which has twice scooped Gold in the Best Event category of the Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards.
The festival's theme of Herbs and Honey will be inspiring three competitions as part of the event.
A traders' shop window display contest, the Young Chef's Challenge and the annual Narberth Pudding Competition will all give a nod to the natural ingredients.
Primary school children from Pembrokeshire, together with a group of hearing-impaired youngsters, will be enjoying a Herbs and Honey-themed Education Day ahead of the festival weekend.
Amongst their activities, they will be learning how to create herb sausages and hearing how bees make honey.
Some of the superb Pembrokeshire produce that sees the county featuring in Welsh and UK food awards will feature on some 50 stalls in and around the festival's massive Town Moor marquee.
Top chefs, including Indian maestro Anand George and Welsh TV chef and family cookery specialist Lisa Fearn, will be sharing recipes and dishes in the Food Theatre.
And seven of the stallholders will be talking about their products and handing out free samples in the Talk and Taste venue, with cheese, chocolate, meat, sorbets and cake amongst the delicacies under discussion.
"It's a terrific event, with a really lovely mix," said festival patron Angela Gray. "There is lots of local support, but also people travel from all over to be here.
"I always feel this is a special festival, full of community spirit."
