PEMBROKESHIRE Marine Code environmental training events return for 2026, starting with a mini-series dedicated to the county’s shoreline birds.

Discover and learn about Pembrokeshire’s Shoreline birds, find out how you can help the different incredible species. Explore best practice and codes of conduct to help minimise disturbance, and learn about the Wales Coast Explorer App as a tool to identify and report wildlife sightings.

There are three February events: a webinar on Monday 23, 7.30-9pm; a session on Wednesday 25, 9am-1pm at The Estuary, Newport Pembs; and a training day on Thursday 26, 10am-4pm at The Gann, Dale.

An exciting line up of speakers has been organised, allowing attendees to be inspired and learn more about Pembrokeshire’s shoreline birds, including the not-so-well-known winter visitors to our shores.

These free to attend events are open to all, especially aimed at activity operators, tourism organisations and coastal users, eager to protect local ecosystems through knowledge and action.
