PEMBROKESHIRE Coastal Forum recently hosted a fantastic environmental training day at Celtic Camping and Abereiddi Bay, as part of the Pembrokeshire Marine Code project.

Joined by Sue Burton, John Archer-Thomson and Sid Howells, attendees explored the geology and ecology of one of Pembrokeshire’s most fascinating coastal locations. From rock formations dating back around 500 million years to the marine wildlife that now depends on these habitats, the session connected the area’s remarkable geological history with the environmental challenges shaping its future.

The day also explored how climate change and invasive species are influencing coastal ecosystems today, alongside opportunities to discover coastal wildlife and natural features first-hand, from gem anemones to fool’s gold.

Thanks go to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success.
