The Army will be using Castlemartin Training Area, near Pembroke, for three large-scale exercises this year in addition to standard training.
Local roads will see increased activity during the week prior to each exercise, which span the following 2025 dates: June 9 - 27; October 13 - November 7; November 17 - December 5. There will be no live firing at the weekend, but vehicles will still be on the move. Firing will take place between 8am-6pm and 8pm-3am Monday-Thursday; 8am-6pm Friday.
The Army announced the exercises on a flyer that has been distributed to local households: “These are critical exercises which will train our troops ahead of future deployments as well as any potential future operational requirements in the UK or overseas.”
