Join West Wales Rivers Trust for guided walks along Pembrokeshire's rivers this spring and summer. Learn about river ecology while enjoying a relaxed pace and scenic views.

West Wales Rivers Trust will be hosting walks around a series of rivers, dates and locations, starting with an 8km Gwaun walk on Saturday, May 17, 10am-12.30pm, and a 4km walk at St Dogmaels on Saturday, May 31, 2-4pm.

All are welcome to join guests from Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, Maynard and the Ramblers on these guided walks. Enjoy a relaxed pace with a picnic break, with varied route options available.

In June, July and August, further rambles have been arranged for Merlin’s Brook near Haverfordwest (11km, June 21, 10.30am-4.30pm), Nevern (4km, July 8, 5.30-7pm), Eastern Cleddau (6km, August 9, 10am-12 noon) and Knightston Brook near Tenby (5km, August 12, 10am-12 noon).

The river rambles give walkers the opportunity to learn ways to monitor the river’s ecology and health.
