Tonight's Rock The Ramparts Concert at Pembroke Castle has had to be cancelled, the Paul Sartori Foundation has announced.

The cancellation was unavoidable because of high winds affecting the stage area and creating unsafe conditions.

“The only thing that can stop the rock…is the wind!” the Pembrokeshire-based hospice at home charity posted. “Gutted to cancel Rock the Ramparts but we have to keep everyone safe.”

All tickets will be automatically refunded – no action is required.

The charity is stressing that the Voices at the Castle concert tomorrow (June 13) “is very much going ahead, and the weather forecast looks excellent.

Celebrated tenor Russell Watson will headline the rescheduled 'Voices at the Castle' event on June 13, after the previous date was postponed due to stormy weather. Enjoy a day of music and celebration at Pembroke Castle.
