A CHRISTMAS Concert on December 1 will raise funds for Tenby Sea Cadets with the help of Clare Harrison, Ella Guru and DJ Lionel Nutting.
Professional soprano and flautist Clare Harrison is a Pembrokeshire music teacher and a former musical director of Tenby Male Choir. She has made three appearances on the International Eisteddfod stage.
Renowned Tenby trio Ella Guru is a family affair, combining guitar, percussion and voices. The band played for 25 years as husband and wife team Richie and Arleen Westmacott, before son Kristian joined them more recently, adding even more variety to their already extensive repertoire.
Pembroke Dock DJ Lionel Nutting has provided entertainment for a huge variety of local functions. He has even been recognised by the town council for his voluntary work with his mobile discos, and described by the town’s Heritage Centre as “a superstar”.
Staged at St Mary’s Church House, Tenby on Monday, December 1, the afternoon concert will take place from 12 noon to 3.30pm.
Tickets are just £5, and are available from Sea Cadets trustee Peter Kraus (call 07867 765716) or from Tenby Town Council Offices, open 9am to 5pm at the De Valence Pavilion, Upper Frog Street, Tenby.
