The monthly meeting was held on February 14 and most of the ladies were sporting their green hearts for the Climate Coalition’s Show the Love campaign.

There followed a talk about glass from the hugely talented and passionate artist Vicky Wilson. Members said it was fascinating to learn about the origin of glass as well as the history of glass art and the different techniques involved in creating glass works. Ladies had the opportunity to have a go at glass art themselves and for this month’s competition, made on the night, glass sun catchers. The results will be revealed next month as they had to be fired in the kiln.

Next meeting is Tuesday, March 14 at 7pm and new members are always welcome.
